The movement is based on a Victorin Piguet calibre with an in-house developped worldtime system that can be operated through the second crown. The dial of the watch is adorned with a captivating map made of blue Chinese enamel, depicting the Atlantic Ocean, with the continents made in gold and showcasing the route of Columbus's maiden voyage. The case made in precious metal has a classic design with a stepped bezel and has its back decorated with an astrolabe, a navigation instrument that Columbus used. Beautifully respecting the tradition of timepieces made in Geneva with a very high attention paid to every part of the watch, the Christophorus Columbus worldtime wristwatch is a most captivating and collectible neovintage piece.
