The Watch
Founded in 1904, zrc specializes in the creation of cutting-edge bracelets with a brand new extendable metal system. In the early 60's, the brand started to create diving watches. True enthusiasts of underwater sports, the founders Edmond Zuccolo and Joseph Rochet decided to create a watch adapted to their practice. This model has a monobloc case of 41.5 mm in diameter made of non-magnetic 316L stainless steel. The unidirectional bezel is an essential element for a diver's watch. This unique watch has a unidirectional rotating bezel with 60 divisions and a special system. The ecs system, created and patented (n°1462496) by the brand, is a technical solution for cleaning the inside of the bezel by the circulation of clear water. This will allow the dilution and evacuation of the sea water that blocks the rotation of the bezel. You will be surprised to find the winding crown screwed in, not at 3 o'clock, but at 6 o'clock. The zrc house warns of the risks! Indeed, it is common to jump into the water and forget to screw the crown back in. Impossible with this Crown Protection System. Located at the bottom of the case, you can't put your strap back on without screwing it down completely. The security of your watch is therefore guaranteed. The upper part of the case supports a 3mm domed sapphire crystal. This type of glass is known for its unparalleled rigidity; it is the second strongest material after diamond. With it, you can be sure that your dial will be protected from the shocks and potential damages of everyday life. In addition, an anti-reflective coating is applied to this glass, which will allow you to read the time under any light and any angle. This timepiece will follow you in your underwater activities thanks to its screwed back which will offer you a waterproofness of 30 atm, that is 300 meters.
The Dial
A black background covers the whole of this round dial. Synonymous with sobriety, it will lend itself wonderfully well to your daily style. In the center, 2 silvered sword hands indicate the hours and minutes with precision. They are covered with a luminescent coating that will allow you to read the time even in the darkest places. In addition, a fine silver breguet second hand appears, punctuated by the seconds. This dark dial is occupied by 12 white time markers. The 4 quarter hours (3,6,9 and 12) are represented in Arabic numerals and the others by stick markers that point to the inside of the dial. You will note that 12 dots covered with the same luminous coating are installed under the indexes. Finally, zrc places the name of its model under the 12 o'clock index as well as its water-resistance and movement above the 6 o'clock mark.
The Movement
The heart of this jewel is a Swiss automatic movement from Sellita. Its caliber SW200-1 is composed of 26 jewels. On these, the brand has arranged an anti-shock protection incabloc to protect the delicate pivots of the wheel against damage in case of physical shock. The balance of this incredible watch is extremely reliable and precise and performs 28'000 oscillations every minute. Finally, the diameter of its mechanism is 25.6 mm and its power reserve is 38 hours.
The Bracelet
The strap of this timepiece is special. Indeed, the new Grands Fonds 300 has a bracelet made of non-magnetic 316L stainless steel. The brand zrc, passionate about underwater sports, has created this bracelet in stretchable diver mesh automatically adjustable out of the ordinary. The purpose of this one is to avoid a resizing when the watch would be worn on a diving suit. Thanks to it, you will be able to wear your timepiece on any occasion, on land or under the sea. Its spring system allows the strap to fit comfortably around your wrist. Finally, you can close it with an exclusive zrc security clasp.
Water resistance
With a water resistance of 30 atmospheres, corresponding to 300 meters, it only remains for all our watch specialists to wish you a good aquatic excursion. Completely waterproof, this model can accompany you everywhere: showering, bathing, swimming, snorkeling or diving with tanks, everything suits it. However, in order to preserve the water resistance of the timepiece, our watchmakers recommend that you do not manipulate the push buttons or the crown while diving.
