This modernized watch features a reliable, low-maintenance ETA 2824-2 movement, a scratch-resistant ECS crystal and a scratch-resistant ceramic insert. A personal favorite: its superluminova "Old radium" paintwork is brilliant, even in daylight! The 6 o'clock crown and the emblematic case design are obvious nods to the original model. The watch comes with a military-style khaki fabric strap, which I find too wide (24mm). I had it replaced by a metal bracelet whose width is reduced on the inside of the wrist, which makes everyday wear more elegant and, above all, more pleasant. The dial is dark and turns chocolate in the sunlight, giving it a vintage charm. It's a jewel watch, despite its "tool watch" appearance, and one that doesn't go unnoticed. An enthusiast's watch that I'd rather part with to finance the purchase of the original icon. Sold in its original case, with fabric strap, instruction manual and purchase papers in France. It has a slight surface scratch on the right side of the case, that's easily polishable as well as a scratch on the bracelet. Both are made visible on the pictures, hence the "signs of wear" status, but it is honestly in a perfect condition. No other damage nor visible issue on this watch.
