This A3637 is in absolutely stunning condition, as close to NOS as you can get. They were tool watches, finding one in this condition is almost impossible. The original Gay Freres bracelet with the diving extension dates it back to 1968. The movement is 2542PC which means this watch is one of the earliest A3637. It was serviced in 02.2025, it's super clean and it works excellent! As you can see in the pictures, the bakelite bezel, the crystal, the hands and the dial are perfect. The tritium is original, never replaced on the dial or the hands, without any cracks and it still glows in the dark. The color turned to yellow/butter, it’s a very nice contrast with the black (more like anthracite) dial. The original screwed crown is perfect. The case and the bracelet were never polished, they retain the original brushed and polished finish. There are only a few minor hairlines. The serial is untouched and visible on the case back. The size of the watch is 43x49mm, the bracelet is full size, it fits a 20cm wrist without opening the diving extension. This watch is extremely beautiful and it works as it should after the professional service. You can see the performance on the timegrapher, it's outstanding.
