Due to the small amount of pieces production with the 50/50 Stainless Steel with 18kt Rose Gold band (most pieces where produced with a crocodile leather band) this watch results to a "hard to find" timepiece.
This pre-owned full set Zenith Captain Chronograph EL PRIMERO Watch (ref 51.2112.400/01.M2110), is from a private collection (as a result the watch has been worn approximately 10 times/year), bought new, from a watch store on April 2015.
The watch manufacture Zenith was founded in 1865 by Georges Favre-Jacot. In 1911 the name was changed into „Fabrique des Billodes“. One day Georges Favre-Jacot finished a new movement which he named after the sky and the stars: Zenith. This is how the brand Zenith was born. 1969 Zenith came up with the first automatic movement called El Primero. Till today the El Primero is one of the most iconic movements in the watch-world.
This stylish Swiss-made timepiece features a stainless steel 42 mm case, with a fixed bezel a silver dial and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal.
A 21 mm stainless steel with 18kt rose gold band, fitted with a hidden fold over clasp . This beautiful wristwatch is powered by a zenith calibre el primero 400, automatic movement, supporting: chronograph, date, hour, minute, second functions and has a water resistance of up to 165 feet/50 meters, suitable for short periods of recreational swimming, but not diving or snorkeling.
