The watch wears extremely well at 40mm and comes fitted with the rarest and most desired dial of the model: the glamorous silver dial! For this price the watch offers everything you can wish for: brand heritage, condition, rarity, thanks to the dial, chronograph movement, and not any chronograph movement but the renowned "El primero" movement, used for example by none other than Rolex for their first automatic chronograph (Daytona Ref. 16520), and with the crown many others, a true collector's piece! The watch appears to have never been polished, and if it has been polished very lightly, as the numbers on the bezel are extremely sharp, as you can see from the photos. Recently, 5 pins and their respective sleeves were replaced by the authorised dealer/service center Hausmann & Co in Rome, using original Zenith pins and sleeves. There are no dents or major scratches on the watch, although there are two slightly bigger scratches on two of the links of the intricate bracelet ( see picture 14-15 ).
