Original signed Zenith steel bracelet (full lenght). Zenith El Primero Pilot Sub Sea Ref. 01-0150-415 For sale is a pure tool watch! Don’t miss out!!! This is a brand that needs no introduction. In the vintage watch community, namely for the mighty “El Primero” movement. With its oversized case and original bracelet, coupled with a luminous matte black dial and handset, this is an unmistakably 1970’s chronograph. DIAL+HANDS: The matte black dial is amazingly preserved and retains a sharp imprint all the way to the rehaut tachymeter scale. The three subdials are also clean and crisp. The whole surface has gently aged, developing an uniform patina. The Tritium coated handset is in very good aesthetic condition and correct to this reference. The lume material has aged to acquire an attractive beige tone. The painted hour markers still retain their original luminous mass and match the handset’s color tone. CRYSTAL: The flat, mineral crystal is clean and correct. CASE: The cushion-shaped stainless steel case measures 44mm in diameter without crown. Despite its big dimensions, you must tried on your wrist. It’s amazing and ensures a great presence, which is further accentuated by a sleek, bidirectional Bakelite bezel. The case appears light polished on the top lugs surface a long time ago however, maintains a strong profile with sharp bevels along the sides and unaltered brushed finish. The original bezel insert shows signs of use, mainly between 7 and 8 o’clock. CASE BACK: The stainless steel, screw-down case back has six opening notches and displays a very legible engraving of the reference number. The inner side is clean and bears the period-correct nomenclature, including the reference number and the EPSA hallmark. CROWN + PUSHERS: The correct winding crown bears the brand’s signature and operates flawlessly, all the way to quick setting the date function. The pump chronograph pushers work correctly, starting, stopping and resetting with crisp feedback. MOVEMENT: Powered by the inhouse Zenith El Primero Cal. 3019 PHC. The movement also allows a quick-set. BRACELET: The original stainless-steel bracelet comes with straight 22mm end links. It displays some scratches that extend to the signed folding clasp. Please feel free to ask questions, I will be glad to answer.
