YEMA Bi-Pole Jean-Louis Etienne circa 1990. Titanium bracelet watch. Round case with compass on the external bezel. Original crown. Gray dial. Colorful hands and the large orange arrow hand for the compass function. Quartz movement. Signed red Nato type fabric bracelet. Diameter: 47mm Sold with box, instructions, guarantee, an additional bracelet and two screwdrivers. Model created for the 1989-90 international Transantartica expedition which consisted of the longest crossing of Antarctica from one ocean to the other via the South Pole. The team was made up of six people of different nationalities including Jean-Louis Etienne for whom Yéma made this model.
