Case never polished. A few pictures and full description included below. Let me know if you’re interested. Thanks! Overall Condition. This is one of the cleanest examples of a late 1905s chronographs that you will see. The lugs have never been polished, dial is in wonderful original condition, and the watch retains its original crown and pushers. I purchased the watch eight years ago but wore it on less than 10 occasions in that time. The size is incredible, and the lugs hug the wrist very well. One of the most comfortable watched out there. Keeps incredible time, more accurate than many of my modern watches. Chronograph function works perfectly, extremely snappy. Case: Stainless steel, totally unpolished, all original lug facets visible. Minor scratches and dings consistent with age, as shown in the pictures. Crown and pushers are original. Crystal has been replaced at service (original crystal will be included with the watch). 35mm Dial: Excellent condition consistent with age. Aged to a wonderful ivory/cream color with some specs visible. Both blue and red timing scales are extremely visible and remain in their original color. “Torch” hour markets and hour/minute hands are in original/excellent condition and all lume has aged to a lovely orange color. Movement. Manually wound Venus 188. Before original purchase the movement was serviced by Kelly Hunter at Art of the Watch in Portland, OR. The mainspring, one pusher spring, and the casebook gasket were replaced at service. Service papers and original parts will be included. Details: Condition: Excellent condition, never polished, original dial Scope: No box or papers. All paperwork from last service will be included, as well as original mainspring, pusher spring, and crystal. Also included will be the racing strap (pictured) and original alligator strap stamped Wittnauer.
