Rolex, Cosmograph Daytona, rare, steel chronograph wristwatch Signed Rolex, ref. 6264/6241, box no. 2372884, circa 1969 Cal. 727 Valjoux, mechanical, 17 jewels, matt silver dial, silver applied indexes, luminescent dot indexes, silver hands, chronograph with 2 black graduated counters and white numerals with center seconds, black subsidiary counter with graduation and white Arabic numerals for the seconds , black bezel graduated up to 200., diam. 37mm, box Inaugurated in 1963, the Cosmograph collection was added the Daytona name in 1964, thus marking Rolex's attachment to motor sports and thus celebrating the brand's sponsorship which began 2 years earlier for the benefit of the circuit of the same name. This collection is one of the most emblematic of the house of Rolex. Available under different references, reference 6264 was produced from the end of the 1960s until 1972.
