Case in overall excellent condition with no sign of previous polish in our view. Case with light surface scuffs and wear consistent with occasional use. Right side lug bands with some visible scratches and scuffs. Buckle with equivalent wear.
DIAL/MOVEMENT
Finely engraved and pierced movement/dial in excellent overall condition.
The movement is running at time of cataloging, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.

Restricted to just 30 pieces in celebration of the 30th anniversary of Michel Parmigiani’s watch making activities, the Kalpa XL Hebdomadaire Skeleton dial reveals its exceptional movement constructed from gold. The case is constructed from palladium, notoriously the most challenging material for case construction and featuring front and back sapphire crystals and a Hermes strap.
The watch uses the Fleurier caliber 118 movement which has double barrels, hand-bevelled and engraved bridges, and beats at 21,600 bph. It has 28 jewels and a power reserve of 8 days. To ensure the uniqueness of this celebration, it is entirely crafted in solid 18-carat gold.
