An 18K gold and enamel two-train petite sonnerie clock watch, made for the Turkish Market Signed Markwick Markham Perigal, London, No. 23022, case stamped IM, circa 1800 With gilt-finished verge movement, chain fusée, finely pierced and engraved balance cock and foot, plain three arm steel balance, diamond endstone, quarter repeating and en passant hour and quarter hour striking on two hammers onto a bell, gilt dust cap, the possibly later gilt dial with finely engraved floral decorated centre, Turkish numerals on blank chapter ring, the inner case with green and pink champlevé enamel floral decorated bezel, pierced and engraved polychrome enamel floral and scroll decorated band, the reverse with s finely painted polychrome enamel bouquet of flowers on turquoise background, engraved and white enamel coat of arms on translucent scarlet guilloché enamel, pink and white champlevé enamel pendant and bow, outer cases missing , quarter repeating trough the diamond-set pendant, strike/silent lever underneath the bezel, case stamped with casemaker's initials IM and numbered 23022, movement and dust cap signed and numbered 23022 44 mm. diam.
