Gilt brass verge watch signed (dial) 'Kleinhénique à Paris' with revolutionary decoration (Gallic cock, beam with Phrygian cap, truth at the altar, a lyre). The dial carried on a movement to be restored. D. 53mm. This watch, or an almost identical one, is reproduced in Yves Droz Josepoh Flores, 'Les Heures révolutionnaires', Bulletin AFAHA 25 26, 1989, 293-6 where it is associated with the Theophilanthropic cult suppressed by Bonaparte in 1801.
