In the XIXᵉ century, it stood out for the high quality of its precision watches and travel clocks. At the turn of the XXᵉ century, under the impetus of Louis Leroy, the company continued its expansion and in 1900 created the legendary Leroy 01, long considered one of the most complex complication watches made. All watches were function-tested at the time of writing. Except for the mention of a mechanism "to be overhauled", the watches were functional. However, the accuracy of the movements is not guaranteed, nor is the operation of the watches beyond the date of sale.
