Strap is in good condition Auctioneers notes: One of the 12 brands produced for the British Military during the latter end of WW2. All watches are engraved W.W.W (Watch, Wrist-let, Waterproof). Vertex are the only British brand on the list. Vertex are one of the four brands who engraved the back of one of the lugs with the last three digits of the serial number, this example has matching numbers which is very rare to see.
