Description Watches of Van Cleef & Arpels’s Poetic Complications series are known for showcasing whimsical and romantic scenes. The Lady Arpels Ballerine Enchantée timepiece playfully depicts a butterfly-esque ballerina, set with a diamond outline, enamel wings and a guilloché background. As part of the watch’s double retrograde movement, the ballerina raises her wing-like tutu to indicate hours and minutes on the scale, bringing the whole scene to life.
