Dial: The Matt Silver dial signed Vacheron & Constantin Geneve with bold Arabic numeral outer minute track with Arabic five second intervals and with original beautiful blued steel spade hands and a matching centre second hand. Case: The massive Silver case with engraved British Military markings to the back of the case. The inner cover is plain. The cases are all signed Vacheron & Constantin, Swiss Hallmarked and numbered. Movement: The exceptional gilt finished movement which is fully jewelled to the centre arbor, signed and numbered with a superb micrometer regulator, compensated balance and unusual centre second wheel to the back plate. This Deck watch is an amazing piece. What is unusual is that it is a centre second watch. Most watches for the British Navy had subsidiary seconds dial.This deck watch also has it's original wooden box with a brass plate on the lid, with the same military numbering as the watch.
