Vacheron & Constantin Silver Military Pocket Watch

A vintage World War II era chronograph pocket watch produced circa 1930s for the United States US Army Corps of Engineers by Vacheron & Constantin (Geneva). It features a 900 coin silver case supporting a 20 Swiss jewels movement with a white enamel face marked with Arabic numeral hour markers and a smaller second dial face at the bottom. The face is stamped with "CORPS OF ENGINEERS U.S.A." and "VACHERON & CONSTANTIN GENEVE (Geneva)." The movement is also stamped "VACHERON & CONSTANTIN GENEVE" on the back. The interior of the case back is stamped ".900" with additional marks, and the exterior case back is stamped "CORPS OF ENGINEERS U.S.A. NO. 1417." The movement measures approximately 45mm. Combined approximate weight 700 grams.
