Vacheron Constantin has been producing pieces with Tonneau-shaped cases since 1912, and it has become a signature design of the Manufacture.
The present stainless steel Vacheron Constantin Royal Eagle Chronograph based on this historic aesthetic was launched in 2002 aimed at a younger audience. It features a modern smooth silvered dial with oversized painted Arabic numerals. The elegantly integrated double-window date and the three-register chronograph display enhance the appeal of the watch.
