Elegant yet sporty, this 18K pink gold edition of the Overseas chronograph ref. 5500V is a notable and uncommon edition of the collection. The black accents representing the chronograph functions offer a striking contrast to the silver dial and pink gold case. Aligned with other Overseas chronograph models, this now discontinued reference houses a column-wheel chronograph enhanced by a date aperture between 4 and 5 o’clock. Its open-worked caseback reveals an oscillating weight in 22K gold featuring decoration inspired by the wind rose, a tribute to the spirit of travel. Thanks to its clasp and system of easily interchangeable straps—rubber or leather—the watch can be personalized according to the owner’s wishes. Both the bezel and the pink gold deployant clasp subtly reveal the Maltese cross, Vacheron Constantin’s iconic emblem.
