It existed with oval-shaped chronograph buttons or with the better known rectangular variant like the present watch. Ref. 4178 is an all-time classic with a decent size for modern taste due to its stepped case and the claw lugs – especially in combination with the really rare steel and pink gold case. The watch has been modified during an earlier service – therefore no extract from Vacheron & Constantin can be ordered. Consigned by an European Private Collector.
