UNERSAL Geneva "Compax" Ref.22493, Cal. 287 circa 1945 Rare large aperture steel military chronograph. Round steel case, smooth bezel, fluted crown and clipped back, two rectangular steel pushers. Creamy white dial with three counters totaling the hours and half-hours and small second hand at 9 o'clock. Black painted Arabic numerals and tachymeter scale with gilt applied indexes, gilt and black painted dauphine hands for the chronometric functions. Hand-wound mechanical movement, caliber UG 287. Case no. 1257133. Black lizard strap with pin buckle. Diameter: 36.5mm. Rare stanless steel military compax by Universal Geneva.
