Rare 1950's reference 12445 Universal Geneve “Uni-Compax” 18K red gold vintage chronograph, minute counter, black lacquered dial with suspended arabic luminescent numerals, subsidiary seconds at 9 and two horological complications 1/5 second chronograph (activated by the two push pieces) with tachymetric scale graduated for 1 000 metres and half-instantaneous 45-minute counter (subsidiary dial at 3 o’clock) in very good condition and in proper working order. The manual winding Universal Geneve manufacture grade movement caliber 285, 14’’’ lever escapement runs strong and keeps accurate time, the chronograph functions start and stop correctly. This movement has been timed, oiled and regulated and keeps accurate time. Original solid 18K red gold case with its fully signed and numbered back is in excellent condition and it measures 34,5 mm diameter, without counting the crown. Black glossy silver gilt dial was professionaly and very precisely restored in special vintage watches restoration company in Switzerland and is in excellent condition, without time patina and oxidations. Case number is 1 441 477 and is produced by Jung & Cie, La Chaux-de-Fonds – No. 128 on the back case of the watch.
