Ulysse Nardin Chronometer 36000 C.O.S.C
This is rare and elegant Ulysse Nardin 36000 Chronometer, in superb condition. The caliber ETA 2826 was used as a base, and the finished movement was designated cal. NB 11 QU. It features 25 jewels, a screwless Glucydur balance, a self-compensating flat hairspring, Incabloc shock resistance, and fine regulator adjustment by eccentric screw. The movement also features quickset date and hacking functions. According to a UN, only 1,000 of these movements were produced, though they were placed in a wide variety of case types and styles.
Adding extra elegance is the reversed date magnifier.
The case measures 36.5mm (without the crown), the bezel is polished, while the lugs are brushed. The watch is in superb mint condition.
The dial is a mid-blue with different shades, depending on the light condition. Together with the contrasting white roman numbers it makes a beautiful ensemble. The hour numbers are roman and show no signs of decay or bleaching. Hands are also in top condition, are in steel with white inserts.
The crystal is the original acrylic crystal, in top condition. the reversed date magnifier adds extra elegance.
