The movement is in working condition at the time of cataloguing. All functions are working properly. The bezel and band with signs of wear. The case back with surface wear particularly towards 10 o'clock. Otherwise the watch is in excellent overall condition.

" Founded in 1846 by a 23-year-old Ulysse Nardin in Le Locke Switzerland, the brand has long been known for designing and producing highly accurate marine chronometers with more than 50 of the world’s navies attesting to this. Like much of the work from Ulysse Nardin, the Grand Deck Marine Tourbillon debuted at Baselworld 2016 took heavy inspiration from the world of maritime, though this is the first time that the tourbillon complication was introduced to the Marine case collection.
A key element of this undeniably impressive timepiece is the blued aluminum retrograde minute hand that mimics a ship’s boom, controlled by a system of transparent string made of a polyethylene and pulleys. Known as Dyneema fiber, the string being thinner than a human hair, is stronger than steel and pulls the minute hand across the dial displaying minute indications along a blue spinel arc. As the retrograde boom hits 60, it sweeps back across the dial while the jumping hour mechanism changes in its big display aperture. Also seen on the white gold case is a quick set pusher above the crown that allows the wearer to advance the hour display with ease.
In addition to the retrograde minute and jumping hour mechanisms, the in-house calibre also features a 60-minute flying tourbillon nestled within the beautifully intricate wooden marquetry dial, resembling the deck of a ship. With a scare limited production of 18 pieces, this incredible and beautiful timepiece would appeal to sailing and watch enthusiasts alike, making a completely unique addition to any collection.
