Flightdeck Reference U-7750/50, a stainless steel automatic wristwatch with chronograph and date, Circa 2010 Description As a prestigious commission from the Italian navy in 1942, the Flightdeck was designed as a wristwatch for its pilots that could satisfy precise technical specifications. Its first drawings were made by Ilvo Fontana, showcasing a robust wristwatch with a strong character that could guarantee maximum visibility and water tightness. In 2000, Italo Fontana, Ilvo’s grandson, discovered the precious designs. They became his source of inspiration for the creation of the U-BOAT watch, along with his motto: A New Dimension in Time. In few years, U-BOAT opened a number of single-brand boutiques and multiple shops all over the world. Flightdeck Reference U-7750/50 is a stainless steel automatic wristwatch with chronograph and date, circa 2010, automatic movement with 25 jewels, stainless steel with black PVD coating in diameter 50 mm. Black military-style leather strap with black PVD coating and stainless steel folding clasp. Date window at 9 o'clock position. Water resistance approximately 100 meters. This watch comes with box only. Condition Report Revive Fair Good Very Good Like New The watch is in overall fair condition. Case is in overall fair condition with moderate surface wear and colour slightly faded out at around 10 O'clock position of the case. Bracelet has signs of stretch, scratches and surface wear throughout commensurate with age. Buckle has signs of scratches. Crystal has signs of scratches and surface wear throughout commensurate with age. Case-back has signs of scratches. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion.
