It's a bold watch with big wrist presence due to the large extremely clear dial and the typical U-Boat destro (lefthand) 'Canteen' crown. For a reasonably large watch it's very comfortable to wear due to the lug design and the destro crown. CASE: The 45mm (excluding the crown) brushed stainless steel case is in very good condition with only the occasional light scratch and the small nick on the lug. The stainless steel canteen crown is excellent condition and screws down perfectly. The unusual 'drop lug' is in great condition and can be removed if you wish to wear the watch on a traditional strap. It has an unmarked sapphire crystal and an exhibition screw down caseback. MOVEMENT: ETA Calibre 2824-2 with a signed rotor that can be seen through the exhibition caseback. The watch winds and date sets as it should and runs well as can be seen from the timegrapher pic. It also has a great reserve. DIAL: Unmarked matt black super legible dial with clear bright lume. Complimented with well lumed baton hands. STRAP: The watch is fitted with one of my lightly used custom handmade, handstitched grey/green Italian leather straps and is fitted with the signed U-Boat butterfly clasp which is in good condition. Also included in the sale is the original brown leather strap which has been used but is still very serviceable. PRESENTATION BOX: The watch comes with the really funky U-Boat magnifying 'porthole' presentation watch box, hang tag and an unused signed polishing cloth. Unfortunately I can't find any of the papers, if I find them I'll include them but assume they've been lost. This is a great watch that I'm only selling because I'm having a clear out, I've got too many damn watches, and it doesn't get the wrist time it deserves! Grab yourself a bargain.
