On that occasion he also registered the name Ranger without at the time having yet found a place for it. In 1952 thanks to a scientific expedition to Greenland there was a great opportunity to test in extreme weather conditions The Tudor Ranger, taking as much data as possible on the functioning of those Oyster Ranger. The model in question is part of my private collection and by searching from the rolex database it can be ascertained that the year of production of this piece is around 1961.
