It’s slightly on the stiffer side to wind but you can still wind it fine. Sometimes it does require a gentle shake after winding to start if the power is completely drained. About the watch & condition: Here we have a beautiful Tudor Prince Oysterdate dated 1975 & purchased a few years later in November 1980. It’s housed in the Rolex case with its Rolex crown & clasp components. The paperwork with the watch is unfortunately photo copied versions, they do match the watch & the booklets shown are correct just it’s not the physical version. More details below; The watch has a gorgeous champagne coloured dial with golden indexes & hands. The date complication is nice & easy to read with the cyclops lens on the crystal as shown! Condition wise it’s in exceptional condition, there’s a slight blemish between the 1 & 2 o’clock markets but apart from that it looks superb. The Crystal is nice & clean and gives you a nice view of the dial below! There’s some very minor light scratches mainly around the cyclops lens but nothing major and can potentially be polished up further. The dial & movement is housed in a beautiful Rolex branded Oyster case. There’s some light scratches & general wear to both the case & bezel and nothing major and is to be expected on any pre owned vintage watch. It has a protective sticker on the Caseback as well. It still has its original Rolex branded screwdown crown which looks stunning & works absolutely fine including the quickset date. As mentioned it’s slightly on the stiffer side but you can still wind it fine. The watch is sat on its original Tudor/Rolex bracelet which will fit a wrist of 7 inches or smaller. It works absolutely fine but does have some signs of wear to the gold plating as shown along with some light scratches. This is to be expected of any pre owned vintage watch. This is an automatic watch meaning it runs off the movement of your wrist. It can also be manually wound as all automatic watch can be. The watch has a small power reserve however if left for a period of time it will have likely stopped. As mentioned the watch comes with photo copied versions of the original guarantee papers from its sale in 1980 along with a photo copied receipt & a repair note shortly after purchase. The watch will come in its service box it was returned in!
