Welcome to this sale of a Swiss-made 42mm TUDOR 'Grantour Date' automatic watch - model reference number 20500N. This very striking Tudor Grantour Date silver dial automatic watch, running on Tudor's Caliber 2824 movement, was originally purchased in Hong Kong from the renowned Kowloon Watch Company on 22 July 2012. It's solid stainless steel construction supports its sporty and elegant presence on the wrist - practical too with good illumination on the watch hands and indices. The chunky 24mm stainless steel bracelet is held securely in place with a security foldover clasp closure and is currently set to fit my 8" wrist. Other features: a scratch-proof sapphire crystal; a screw down crown and crown guards; a date window; a minute tracker; 150m water resistance [untested]; 38 hours' power reserve and 25 jewels complete the picture. The watch has been given an occasional turn on a watch-winder to keep it in great shape. The watch shows light and expected signs of wear commensurate with the age of the watch - you may want to commission a light polish to the watch, but frankly, I'd leave the watch in its current and original condition. The watch comes with its outer and inner boxes, all the paperwork and the original hang tag. This watch is eligible to be accredited, free of charge, by eBay's Authentication Team - this 24-hour turnaround service includes a condition check of the watch and a guarantee of the watch's authenticity - eBay will supply an Authentication Guarantee Card with the watch which will help to safeguard the watch's future value. The watch was previously authenticated by eBay on 14 July 2022 when it came into my ownership.
