A fine 18K gold hunter case minute repeating jaquemarts watch Signed Tempora, No. 248434, circa 1900 With gilt-finished lever movement, 32 jewels, bimetallic compensation balance, quarter repeating on two polished steel hammers onto two gongs, glazed dust cover, gold cuvette, the small translucent opalescent enamel dial with black enamel Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds, surrounded by two applied varicoloured gilt jaquemarts apparently striking the bells in unison with the repeating, all on translucent blue enamel on engine-turned background, in circular case with a lion's head and floral decoration in high relief to the front, repeating slide in the band, case numbered, cuvette signed and numbered 58 mm. diam.
