The watch starts immediately when it is moved. The internal world time bezel (upper crown) as well as the winding mechanism, date and time (lower crown) can also be easily adjusted - even if it feels a little more sluggish compared to current watches. I don't know if and when the watch was serviced or if anything else was done to it, as I bought it myself without a box or papers.
