The Technos brand was established 1900 in Switzerland by the Gunzinger family, who were renowned for their long-standing tradition in the watchmaking industry. 1956 Importadora Centauro was founded in Brazil to serve as the exclusive distributor of Technos watches. The brand experienced significant growth during the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. Technos opened an assembly and distribution plant in 1982 Manaus, Brazil, and began assembling watches locally. By the late 1980s, Technos had become the market leader in Brazil in terms of revenue. This watch has a true 1970’s retro feel.
