Here we have an early World War I-era 1917 Tavannes Cal. 330 .925 Sterling Silver Trench Watch featuring a 34mm Sterling Silver round case that comfortably sits on your wrist, with delicate wired lugs. Its curved flanks lead to a lug-to-lug length of 39mm and a case thickness of 11.5mm. On the right side, a coin-edged crown. A thin, smooth bezel holds a domed crystal above a striking white enamel dial. An outer minute track surrounds large Arabic numerals painted in Radium, marking the hours. Elegant Cathedral hands filled with Radium sit majestically above a sub-second, complete with a leaf hand, which completes this distinctive early Trench watch. On the reverse, a hinged solid .925 Sterling Silver case back, inside a manually wound Tavannes Cal. 330, 15 jewel movement.
