TAG Heuer Monaco CBL2111.BA0644

Description

Tag Heuer Monaco CBL2111.BA0644

One of the most iconic vintage watches of the 20th century, the Heuer Monaco achieved a legendary status primarily for three reasons: for its innovative, square-cased design; for being the first watch to house the famous calibre 11, one of the very first automatic chronograph movements in history; and for its association with cult actor Steve McQueen, who wore the watch during the filming of the great 1972 motorsports film Le Mans, personifying the timeless cool of the classic race car era. This version is similar though not identical to the first-generation model from 1969, most notably foregoing the horizontal hour markers and placing the crown between the pushers on the right side of the case, rather than in isolation on the left. It also comes on a H-link steel bracelet, rather than a strap. This Tag Heuer Monaco CBL2111.BA0644 has a blue baton dial and a bracelet strap. This Tag Heuer has undergone a thorough inspection of accuracy, functionality and condition at our Tag Heuer certified service centre to determine the level of reconditioning required to meet our strict standards. It has also been checked against our records to ensure authenticity.
