This special edition square timepiece pays tribute to Steve McQueen cinematic legacy as the "King of Cool" and the robust blue-and-orange Gulf Oil racing stripes of his Porsche 917 racing car in 1971's famous Le Mans film. In 2019, the retro racing legacy of Steve McQueen and his Le Mans film was once again highlighted with the release of the blockbuster Ford v. Ferrari starring Matt Damon and Christian Bale. This specific 2018 special edition model is in unworn condition, and is in search of a new home. The now discontinued model, is a rare collector's set, where I'm asking only $12,800 all-inclusive to own a piece of Steve McQueen history. This set (and it's full Gulf blue and orange colored strips) is much nicer than the newly released May 2022 model (CBL2115), in my opinion. The set comes with the original navy leather strap in addition to this Aaron Bespoke ordered handmade light blue leather strap with Gulf Oil colored orange stitches.
