Squale MATICXSB.PTC

Description

Squale Matic Dark Blue Leather MATICXSB.PTC

Model 60 Atmos is a watch with an case made of steel, the shape of which, as I mentioned earlier, strongly refers to the case of historical models, called "Von Büren". It is slightly larger than the case of the 50 atmos model, but with the proportions it has the same features, i.e. a narrow sideline, strongly drooping lugs and a perfect fit to the wrist, despite the fact that the watch is nominally quite large. The steel used for the case is described as "Swedish special steel". And, of course, the crown at 4 o'clock with a signed front surface. Our hero has a case diameter of 44 mm. The exact case itself is 42.7 mm, but the edge of the bezel protrudes slightly beyond its outline, and it is the rotating bezel that gives the real impression of the size of the watch, and therefore it is 44 mm in diameter. Despite the impression of lightness achieved by narrow sides, the thickness of the watch is also considerable and amounts to 15.8mm. It's a lot, but the watch looks much flatter. However, it must be taken into account that the thickness includes strongly convex, almost spherical, sapphire glass with a strong anti-reflective coating. The watch is available with a case with satin or high-gloss polished surfaces. As you can see in the pictures, the second version came to us. It looks very attractive, but you have to accept that polished surfaces are easily scratched. Despite the use of only one type of surface treatment, it is immediately obvious that the edges or the surfaces themselves are made with the highest precision. A well-established opinion about the quality of workmanship is not just a marketing phrase, but a fact that every user will appreciate HISTORY OF SQUALE Charles and Hélène von Büren founded the watchmaker Von Büren SA in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. They soon turned their destiny into the ultimate unexplored field of diving watches and began producing reliable, durable, high-quality watches under the Squale brand. In 1959, under the supervision of Charles, Von Büren SA registered the Squale trademark and obtained the first patent for a new patent for a diving watch case. Having a reliable, waterproof, watch was a diver's word back then. In those years, the versions were the only ones that could use divers to calculate dive times, so they were considered one of the payers to keep divers safe.Model 60 Atmos is a watch with an case made of steel, the shape of which, as I mentioned earlier, strongly refers to the case of historical models, called "Von Büren".
