This industrial-inspired Q-series timepiece is reminiscent of a steamboat's engine order telegraph or "chadburn" and features a 44.3 x 49.7 mm stainless steel case with squared edges that hold a multi-layered dial under a hardened mineral crystal. The fascinating dial is bordered on by a brushed and polished fixed bezel and features a harmony of different shapes, textures, colors and finishings such as the textured gunmetal gray center, gold-tone outer minutes track, decentralized 12-hour indicator ring at 9 o'clock and the "additioner principle" seconds disc at the 4 o'clock mixed with black accents. The hands are arranged to aesthetically mimic the communications device, with the larger central one being the minutes hand and the smaller, dual-pointed one as the hour hand while the seconds disc offer arrow indicators in black and red accents. The bordered date window is located at the 3 o'clock adjacent to the crown. Attached discreetly via the case's integrated lugs is a brown calfskin leather strap secured by a matching gunmetal PVD-coated steel buckle in its distinct rounded shape. The lugs are also equipped with a Fast Strap Changer (FSC) with quick-release pins and are evident at the left side of the case. This watch also features a screw on caseback inscribed with the model's information/spec sheet wherein underneath lies the Miyota caliber 8219, a Japanese automatic movement that beats 21,600 vibrations per hour and an embedded NFC chip for use in connection with the SEVENFRIDAY application, allowing secured product registration and authentication. This timepiece is splash/rain-resistant up to 30 meters/100 feet. Not intended for use in water/diving.
