Rare black Seiko Business-A 8306-8001 from 1967 in good to very good overall condition. These Seiko Business-A are basically Seikomatic-R which were renamed in 1967, they share the same movements and cases.
This Business-A is in its original condition, rare black dial, dauphine hands and steel hour markers. Days in English and date at 3 (with a working quickset). The case is in good condition, with some minor wear.
The movement is a Seiko 30-jewel automatic 8306. It has been serviced, it works great, holding good time (gaining about 5 s/d), the balance having an good amplitude. The crystal is probably original, I polished it. The leather band is new.
Vintage watch without known history but checked, serviced (04/2024) and cleaned. Water resistance non tested.
