Seiko Goldfeather 15008 The Goldfeather was made at a time when movements were assembled and regulated largely by hand and still labelled under Seiko’s old name, “Seikosha.” The assembly of the caliber 60M was especially challenging for the brand given the thinness of the movement at 2.95mm This movement is one of a few thinnest ever made. Paradoxically this watch is produced in stainless steel as well despite the name. Stainless steel is significantly less common than its gold-filled sister. This watch was produced in December 1960 and comes with manual winding. Dial: Is in good condition with some sign of ageing. There are no scratches. In daily use, this will not be visible. Hands: In mint condition Crystal: Replaced. Case: Is in very good condition. There are small scratches and marks but nothing major This high-end movement has been stripped down, cleaned, and serviced so you can enjoy the watch for years to come without thinking of maintenance. All functions have been tested and are working.
