This collectible 6306 is one of approximately 1,000 pieces co-branded with legendary diving equipment company ScubaPro. The stainless steel case is in excellent condition for its age showing light signs of use and wear. The caseback shows minor scratches, with all the engravings including reference, serial and medallion fully visible. The date code on the back of the dial has been verified by a watchmaker, and matches the production year of the watch (1979). The Suwa-signed matte black dial is excellent, with a few small marks visible around the 4 o'clock luminous dot. The SCUBAPRO 450 branding has faded to a pale light blue. The WATER RESIST has faded to an orange reddish brown hue. The lume on the hands and indices matches and is a beautiful off white, very light cream. The bidirectional bezel with luminous pip is intact and excellent, the bezel insert has faded to an attractive matte dark grey with very light signs of wear. The watch is powered by the cal. 6306A automatic movement with hacking seconds and quickset Kanji and English day/date wheel. Watch comes on a Seiko DAL1BP rubber strap and signed buckle. This vintage Seiko 6306 is part of a private collection. It was properly vetted and verified by a reputable auction house prior to purchase. The watch is running well and keeping excellent time.
