This watch shape is affectionately named ‘Sumo’ by Seiko fans because of its size and shape and the 12 o’clock marker – it’s a substantially strong looking timepiece. The dial of this design was influenced by a diver’s underwater view as the sun reflects and shines on the surface. The light blue coloured minute hand and scale on the bezel allows for high legibility in deep water. It operates on an in-house mechanical 6R35 calibre movement, 70-hour power reserve, and is water resistant up to 200m. The case is made of stainless steel with a super hard coating. The bracelet comes with a newly refined Diver buckle design. It has sapphire glass, and a date display on the dial.
