This lacquer dial model pays homage to SEIKO's original pocket watch, the "Timekeeper." It features the caliber 6R5H, with a 24-hour hand at 6 o'clock, and a new minute rail on the dial scale, emphasizing its elegance. The glossy jet-black color, achieved through repeated application and polishing, contrasts with the plump, thick gold Roman numerals, creating a luxurious color scheme reminiscent of Kanazawa lacquerware and Kaga maki-e. The black cowhide leather strap (LWG-certified leather) complements the lustrous jet-black lacquer, further enhancing the luxurious feel.
