This is the case with the Seiko Vanac, a classic from way back in the 70's that has been given new life. While the originals had a box crystal with facets, these new models opt for a more practical/modern touch with the flat sapphire crystal. The bracelet is flat, duel finished and equipped with a butterfly style clasp. The dial is a mix between silver and white, having a little bit of understated luster in the right light. The level of polish is incredible, Seiko layers multiple types of finish throughout the watch, giving an almost Grand Seiko level of detail to this piece. Powered by Seiko's in-house 8l45 movement, this a fantastic modern remake of a beloved classic.
