Vintage J14102E King Seiko 1st 25 Jewels hand wind. SD Sunburst Gold Dial You're wearing a piece of Seiko and watchmaking history. This reference is the very 1st King Seiko, an early production model from July 1961. Quality watch with 14K 100 micron thick gold plate and SD dial with solid 14K gold indices. Runs strong and keeping good time. There is a service mark but that could be from some time ago. 14K gold 100 micron plated case has been hand polished. Very good condition with a couple of minor marks only. Sized at 35mm x 43mm • Original SD (Special Dial) sunburst gold dial. • Applied solid 14K gold indices. Some light age spots/dust. Very good for age. • Original gold sword hands. Good • Original thick box acrylic crystal. Excellent. • Gold crown may not be original. Perhaps the “S” has worn down. Works well • 14K gold filled case back is very good as seen. • Original Seiko 25J hand wind movement. Serial 101680. Runs well • New, genuine Seiko 18mm black Calf leather band.
