Immaculate condition. The case has been professionally refinished by a previous owner. Originally purchased from Europe. I’ve never seen refinishing done to this standard before. I’d say it’s finished to a higher quality than when it left the Suwa factory 52 years ago. The crystal is clear of any scratches or chips. The dial is in wonderful condition. Only a few faint spots under macro visible. Presents as immaculate to the naked eye. No stains or signs of water ingress. The indices & dauphine hands retain their high polish. Inside is the 28800 bph high quality automatic movement that King Seiko were renowned for in the highly enterprising era of the 60’s & 70’s. Although I’m not aware of its most recent service date, a timegrapher reading has confirmed it’s certainly not in need of any service work in the near future (see photo). It shows healthy amplitude with minimal beat error & accuracy within about 10spd. Everything works as it should, including day/date quick set, hacking seconds hand & manual winding. It is presented on a beautiful near new genuine black leather strap. It has been part of my collection & has been well looked after over it’s 52 year old life.
