The first automatic vintage Grand Seiko and as a series that was in production for less than two years, the 62GS watches are extremely collectible. This watch is a later production 6246-9001 with the GS logo medallion taking the place of the lion medallion found on the earlier pre-1966 pieces. The case has only very minor hairline scratches and may have been polished. The dial can be described as very good and exhibit a strong sun-burst effect. There are some smears on the "Automatic" and "Diashock" prints. No water stain on the dial. The hands and hour markers have minor stains and dirt but still look polished and reflective. Comes with a vintage Grand Seiko buckle. I have not been able to verify if this buckle is original or after market.
