Description

Seiko Chronograph 6139-6030 "Gold Pogue" Chronograph - PENDING

One of Seiko's most iconic timepieces is the "Pogue." This nickname came from the astronaut Colonel William R. Pogue who used an earlier gold dial variant of this reference for a NASA mission in 1973. We believe that both variants with blue and gold dial remain highly undervalued, even in today's market given their historical significance. This example has a fantastic dial/bezel, as well as sharp case and bracelet. If you're looking for a robust vintage piece with plenty of wrist presence, don't overlook the "Pogue" for its fun pop of color and important place in the annals of horology. Dial: Fantastic preservation with perfectly clean looking lume. Some light aging in the sub dial but nothing distracting. Bezel insert: Excellent with light wear consistent with age. Hands: Are matching and all of their lume is stable. Case: Extremely sharp and nicely preserved. Etching on back is still deep and visible. Correct pushers and crown. Bracelet: Signed and correct "H" link style. Fully linked and light stretch. Crystal: Clear. Accessories: None. All functions of the watch operate flawlessly. The movement is running well on our timegrapher and comes with our 1-year mechanical warranty.
