The glass is spotless, the case, bezel and caseback only have tiny hairline scratches this watch is (besides the dial) in phenomenal condition. The dial maintains great legibility and doesnt have any other marks besides the big one in the middle. The watch has some very slight/light scratches from normal use but is in otherwise superb condition especially considering it's age(55+ yr old) with no deep scratches or dents, the crystal is without scratches. The watch used automatic winding and is keeping good time and all functions like date change and rotating the bezel operate without any issues. Details: The watch dates back to august 1970 and because of this still has 'WATERPROOF' on the caseback, watches from 1971 and later have 'water resist(ant)' due to changes in (US) regulations at the time. That's not the only historical thing about this watch, the watch has the world timer bezel known as the 'error bezel' , an intended error tough, London and GMT are placed besides eachother instead of on top of eachother. This is due to an experiment with British standard time that lasted only a few years. Includes: Watch only (+ new leather and rubber strap) There are replacement dials available, they are great but they have 1 minor flaw. This model (6117-6400 white dial) has a dial with the dial code 6117-6420 , the dial code 6117-6400 is the dial code used exclusively for a black dial. I'm selling it with the original dial for the buyer to decide whether they want to keep it original or have a crisp replacement dial.
