Here we have a 1974 Seiko World Time GMT automatic on a Bracelet 6117-6400 featuring a 41mm stainless steel C-shaped case. Its curved, chamfered flanks lead to a lug-to-lug length of 44.5mm and a case thickness of 12.5mm, ensuring a comfortable fit on your wrist. On the right side, we have the recessed coin-edged crown at 4 o’clock, which can be rotated in either direction to change the World Time chapter ring. The smooth bezel encloses the domed crystal, which shields the inner black and gold accented World Time chapter ring, surrounding an orange 24-hour ring. A minute track sits above applied steel, thick single and double baton indexes tipped with lume hour markers. At 3 o’clock, a bevel-edged date window. Polished steel baton hands are complemented by a tapered second hand and a red GMT hand. At noon, the applied Seiko motif ‘World Time’ is printed in white, and at 6 o’clock, the ‘Automatic’ Suwa Seikosha factory symbol completes this distinctive traveller's companion. On the reverse, a screw-down case back, with what appears to be a number hand-engraved, inside we have an automatic Seiko Cal. 6117, 17 jewels, beating at 21,600 beats per hour. It comes paired with its original 20mm Seiko stainless steel bracelet and signed folding clasp and will fit up to a 6.8-inch wrist.
